About GIQS e.V.

Internationalisation is also a major challenge for the agri-food industry. National borders prove to be obstacles to transparency, quality improvement and process optimisation. At the same time, questions for research and development arise which can be better answered in cooperation with other organisations. On the initiative of the Universities of Bonn (NRW) and Wageningen (NL), GIQS (Grenzüberschreitende Integrierte Qualitätssicherung e.V.), a non-profit and international network was established in 2001. In the meantime, GIQS has established itself as a strong network in the agricultural and food sectors.
